THE MARBLE RUN CHALLENGE

For  Pakirehua we had to create our own marble run.  Pakirehua means inquiry.
We had to try to make our marble run for 30 seconds but this was tricky because it took so long to make.
I found it difficult to make It because we only had a small glue stick for the hot glue gun.
I enjoyed it because t actually worked but we had to make a few adjustments before recoding it.
next time I will try to get It to run for 30 seconds.
here is my video I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you for visiting my blog.

REPURPOSE AND REUSE

We are learning to repurpose and reuse.
Today I made a bag from an old t-shirt.
I found it easy to cut off the sleeves and the neck part.
I found it hard to find a something to tie the bottom of the bag up with.
I used a hair tie to tie the bottom up.
My digital learning object shows I am able to repurpose and reuse old t-shirts.
This task was really fun. The best part was putting my cat in my bag.

ANZAC day poppy

Today I made a poppy to put out the front of my house. The poppy is a symbol of war remembrance. The red on the petals represents the blood of the ones who lost  their lives, the black represents  the sadness of the ones who lost their loved ones and the green represents hope  that grass and crops grow after the war and brings a field full of poppies.
I found it easy to paint the middle part of the poppy.
I found it hard to put the wraping paper on the poppy.
Next time I would do it different by paiting it.
