ENVIROSCHOOLS- BUGS

Today for Enviroschools I was learning about bugs.
Our task was to make a a bug from things we have at home.
I made a Monarch butterfly from newspaper, cardboard, and paint.
I found it hard to cut the shape of my butterfly out.
I found it easy to paint it.

ADDITION UP TO 7 DIGITS

Today for maths I was doing some addition up to 7 digits.

I have done a screencastify of one of my equations. 

I found it a bit tricky to do the screencastify because I have not done many.

I found it easy to add the numbers together.

Today for tuhituhi we had to write a mystery story choosing one of three mysterys to write about.
I found it hard to think of what to write.
I found it easy to Self Assess my writing.

Today for pauitia we were coding our own game.
I found it easy to connect the codes to make it run.
I enjoyed this task because I like flappy bird.

Enviroschools

Today for Enviroschools we were learning about reduce,reuse,recycle and repepurpose.
we had to make a poster or a slide I chose a slide.
I found it hard to do alot of typing
I found it easy to make my background interesting
Next time I might try making a poster instead.

Pangarau

Today for Pangarau we were learning binary code. Our challenge was to use the digital binary cards to create the number 45.
I found it hard to make the number 45
I found it easy to flip my cards.

Pakirehua-Inquiry

Today for inquiry we had to code a sprite on Scratch to be able to move to a set place.
I found it hard to give my sprite instructions because there were to many to choose from.
I found it easy to choose a sprite and background.

Design Thinking Rechargable Couch

Today we were reading about techno;ogy design and how it has helped solve a problem and a solution without limits.  I found it hard to think of a problem and a soloutiuon.
I decided to design a rechargable couch because my controller is always going flat and I would love to not have to wait for it to charge or use cords.

THE FAITHFUL HALL OF FAME

I was learning about Jesus because this was our topic for R.E The  Faithful Hall of Fame
and keeping an eye on Jesus.
I found it difficult to mach the scripture with the statement because there was a lot to read.
I found it easy to smuf it.
I enjoyed learning about Jesus today because it was nice to start with R.E.
My learning objcet shows that I can match statements to sriptures.

THE MARBLE RUN CHALLENGE

For  Pakirehua we had to create our own marble run.  Pakirehua means inquiry.
We had to try to make our marble run for 30 seconds but this was tricky because it took so long to make.
I found it difficult to make It because we only had a small glue stick for the hot glue gun.
I enjoyed it because t actually worked but we had to make a few adjustments before recoding it.
next time I will try to get It to run for 30 seconds.

MY LOCKDOWN DIARY PAGES 27-28

Today for writing  I am doing my lockdown diary pages 27-28.
I found it hard to make a poem because I tryed to make it rhyme and that was tricky.
I found it easy to insert the images of the Insideout characters because I have been inserting images a lot and got good at it.
My digal learning objet shows that I can insert images and screen shot my work when ever I need to.

MOTHERS DAY SLIDE

This week we have been doing our Mothers day slides.
I found it hard to put the puzzle pieces in the right place because it moves to much when you want to move it a little bit.
I found it easy to do the activtes because I know my mum well.

TASKMASTER COOKIE CHALLENGE

Today for taskmarster I did the cookie challenge.
I found it so tricky to get the cookie into my mouth but I did it!
I used an animal biscuit.

MY LOCKDOWN DIARY PAGES 25-26

Today for writing I did pages 25-26 of my lockdown diary.
I found it hard to think of what I could put on my blank page so I asked mum and she said how about a recipie.
I found it easy to think of the recipie I wanted because feijoas and Ice cream are my favourites.
next time I will try another recipie. Give this a go. We are going to make it today after school work.
My digtal learning object  shows I can use Images in my blogs and add coulers.
I like how I am starting to make my blogs more interesting by adding more in my writing and trying new ways of making them look cool.

REPURPOSE AND REUSE

We are learning to repurpose and reuse.

Today I made a bag from an old t-shirt.

I found it easy to cut off the sleeves and the neck part.

I found it hard to find a something to tie the bottom of the bag up with. 

I used a hair tie to tie the bottom up.

My digital learning object shows I am able to repurpose and reuse old t-shirts.

This task was really fun. The best part was putting my cat in my bag. 

MY LOCKDOWN DIARY

Today for writing I have been doing my lockdown diary pages 23-24. I enjoyed finding images for my pantry. I like how I have set my pantry page out. I found it hard to fit all my writing on the one page for details of the day. My learning object shows that I can find images and add them to my blog and use them for what I what to create.

Coding

We are learning how to do simple code instructions.
I found it hard to think of instructions because im tired from doing alot of work today.
I found it easy to find the images that I wanted to add to my google slide.
My digital learning object shows I can write simple code instructions and insert images into my google slide.
I wouldnt change anything on my blog today because I like my work today.

MY LOCKDOWN DIARY PAGES 21-22

Today for writing we are doing my lockdown diary pages 21-22.
I found it easy to take sceen shots of images and put them on my blog.
I found it tricky not adding words  to my picture blog because my brain just wanted to add words.
My digital learning object shows that I can take sceen shots and add them to my blog I can also use simple shapes to create my blog pictures. Can you guess what I am doing today in pictures?

MY LOCKDOWN DIARY PAGES 17-18

Today I did pages 17-18 of my lockdown diary.
I found writing easy today because I was concentrating.
I found it hard to design my bacground. I used gradient for my background toady and I found it tricky to learn to make it a circle.
I enjoyed making the gradient background even though it was tricky. Next time I will make my writing a little bit biger. Thank you for visiting my blog.
